Born from a shared passion for the Dachshund, the Alberta Dachshund Club (ADC) is the heart of a dedicated community of long-term and new to the breed people, as well as dog sport enthusiasts across the province.  We’re committed to protecting and promoting this iconic breed by encouraging responsible breeding practices, prioritizing health, structure, temperament, and upholding the standards set by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).

More than a club, we’re a hub — a place where prospective and current Dachshund owners, as well as regional breeders, can access reliable information, connect with like‑minded individuals, and share in the joy of these charming, bold, and unforgettable little dogs.

We meet to plan events, discuss important breed and club matters, and offer a welcoming open forum for our members. Our mission is to support and strengthen the Dachshund community throughout Alberta while celebrating everything that makes this breed so special.
