Join the Club!

Membership & Eligibility:

• The membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st of the same year.
• Anyone eighteen years or older can apply for membership in the Club.

There are two classes of membership:

• Regular Members: Alberta residents eligible for Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) membership. These members have two classes: voting and non-voting.
• Associate Members: Residents outside of Alberta, do not require a CKC membership number and are non-voting members.

Membership Privileges:

• Regular Voting Members: In good standing, they can vote on all Club matters and propose amendments to the bylaws.
• Regular Non-Voting Members and Associate Members: In good standing, they can attend meetings and participate in discussions but can’t make or second motions or vote on Club matters.
• Additional benefits include:
  • Access to decades of experienced individuals in the dachshund breed.
  • First hand knowledge of upcoming events and contribute to their success before they are publicly posted.
  • Contribute to the betterment of the breed.
  • Opportunities of becoming a valued board or committee member.
  • Publication on our website and Facebook page for those who are in good standing as a responsible CKC registered breeder in the regional area.

Dues:

• Regular Voting Member fees are currently $20.00 / membership year.
• Regular Non-Voting Member & Associate Member fees are currently $10.00 / membership year.

Application for Membership:

• Prospective Members:
  • Complete a current membership application form below and;

               A) Send applications and membership dues (once membership is approved)
                   via e-transfer to adc.events6@gmail.com, or 

               B) Mailed applications and member fees can be sent to:

Membership Renewal:

• Renewal of memberships for the following year can be made by e-transfer or by mail on or before December 31 of the calendar year.
